Thanks for translating this story! Too early to tell whether I’ll enjoy it, but I would definitely not enjoy a partial story, so I’m glad you decided to translate even the ero parts. It would be just wrong if a translator started to ignore parts of the story just because a few weaklings can’t handle them.

As a guy im also kinda tired of it. They “fall in love” with a character then “fall in love” with another. They then either sleep with them or agree to be friends yet the girl is always flirting anyway. It just gets tiring.

I’m also not a big fan of harem novels. Not just because committing to a single person doesn’t sit well with me, but also because in these types of stories, romance is usually never taken seriously as the MC collects girls as if they were Pokemon.

For fuck sakes, I bet you read Reverse-Harem in your spare time, but you can’t find OP male lead in those novels and you came here. I see a lot of people hating harem, WHY? Don’t a hate a genre for being a genre. If you hate harems that much then just read one that doesn’t have any harem like ISSTH, don’t fear the reaper, Coiling Dragon or whatever.
– I too hate harem, but only when it is dumb and doesn’t have any sense of progression which this novel doesn’t have and that is why I am reading it.

Thing is i stopped reading Harem novels long ago cause of their generic and cliché characters. I already read those novels, i ain’t a noob. I am whining because i actually like the novel and i don’t want it to be ruined by a harem. AND for your information, this novel DOES have a harem later on in the story, even Shui Ruo told him to get as many girls as possible ffs. The story is great that’s why i am still reading it later on, but this story DOES have a harem and a pretty generic one as well.

What i don’t understand is how a person can ‘love’ two people at once (Eve and Shui Ruo, Eve’s story was pretty much a stretch and i didn’t like the backstory at all) trying to justify a harem is stupid lol. Let’s not forget the girls in the Heart’s Dream or whatever guild who are obsessed with Ling Chen. All the characters so far are generic, you have the mysterious woman, the quiet assassin, the shy cute girl, the perfect powerful woman, the outgoing and extrovert girl, let’s not forget the little sister and childhood sweetheart. I love the concept of the story other than this though.

Reverse harem is when a girl is surrounded by boys, and i agree with you 100%. Assuming i am hating for no reason when i am actually just giving constructive criticism, harems or reverse harems make no sense and are too cliché, even a 1on1 romance is boring these days. Authors need to step up their game.

And don’t think i am interested in homosexual acts between males lol. It’s a part of the story. You should use spoiler tags or links in the story to warn the people who really don’t want the ero, but it’d be a shame to have the flow of the story broken by just not translating them. Ero scenes also some tend to give some nice insights as to what the character’s preferences/personalities really are other than just existing to give boners/fap material. Thanks.
